I am 90% sure that you could swap out the things the anet develper NPCs in GW1 say with lines from Animal Crossing and there would be no discrepancies in either game.
Kahlin Johandsome tho. (So charismatic!)

Hey, the middle one at the bottom is called Angel Mekkoi… very close to Angel McCoy :o Intended ? Most likely considering the Gayle Grey at the top. Quite funny to spot these.

(Also, that one who’s called Zadorojny)

Yes intended, all of these npcs (and more) are real life people who worked on GW1, and these little boxes are their eulogy for GW1 when it “finished”.

I keep thinking about that post that some of the corrupted tyrians are probably aware of their fate

especially the risen oh my god?? and the branded???

this is beyond awful to me, my gut was in a knot through the entire Howl story line and I’m only starting to realize why and it’s future implications

Yeah (I’m so sorry this is going to be another essay on Orr im sorry) like Risen farmers. If you let them be, they go back to farming and only attack if you get in their way. I feel like most of their conscious thoughts are overwritten with KILL…EVERYTHING. Though I think how much they remember/know about their lives entirely depends on how useful that information was to Zhaitan. I suppose the level of awareness depends on the dragon too, and what the dragon represents in the mind of the corrupted.

Like, the Orrian Scholar Thadeus Lamonte’s brain full of orrian secrets and tyrian world history would have been line a morning newspaper to the newly awoken zhaitan, and he is reanimated as a much more powerful risen compared the most; as Thadeus Ghostrite (which is a pun because he was an author, and ghost writing because he is now a ghost.)  One thing that stays consistent with all the zhaitan corrupted, is that in their minds all previous beliefs and thoughts are overwritten with what is effectively, “All other beliefs are false, Zhaitan is truth”.

…i tabbed out and lost my train of thought sorry for the wall of text

Bayt Fallahin - Home of the Peasants - Orr’s largest city after Arah, known today as the area around Malchor’s Leap. The cathedrals of both Dwayna and Lyssa stood in the city by the northern coast of the peninsula. It was said that the lines between social classes in Fallahin were blurred and you would often find nobles associating with the farmers. You can still find Risen Nobles helping the Risen farmers til the fetid earth.

The Seraph is the largest of the three main military organizations in the human kingdom of Kryta. Wearing white armor trimmed with gold, their shields bear wings out of respect to the goddess Dwayna. The Seraph are the army, the police force, and the protectors of the populace.
